Brock Charles Architects provides a full architectural service and undertakes domestic and commercial work, including Listed Building and Conservation Area projects around Warwickshire, the Cotswolds and the West Midlands.
Formed in 2006 when Olly Brock and Andrew Faulkner returned to the mainland, Brock Charles Architects has steadily grown in both reputation and instructions from home and business owner clients, who have enjoyed the advantage of the local knowledge that Brock Charles can offer. Our reputation is our greatest advertisement, the majority of new enquiries coming through recommendation. Olly returned back home with his family in the late Summer of 2010. The ongoing success that the Practice now enjoys is strengthened with the continuity of the Practice’s history through Andrew and the supplementary skills and further opportunities with different sectors through Steev.
Andrew Faulkner – Director
A founding Director of the Practice in 2006, Andrew is well travelled and returned back to his home county of Warwickshire to set up the Practice after gaining experience in working abroad for many years. Andrew carefully works with a client to develop a clear brief and developed this Practice ethos to provide the exceptional designs that Brock Charles Architects are well known for. Andrew excels in the construction detailing of a building project and is passionate about developing an excellent set of working drawings for builders to price, so the client saves money with accurate pricing from returning tenders.
Andrew plays golf to a high standard and enjoys time in the mountains snowboarding with friends and family. He lives in a quiet Warwickshire village with his partner and their teenage daughter.
Steev Ellson – Director
Steev joined the established Architectural Practice of Brock Charles in September 2010. Originally from Leicester, he undertook his Architectural training in Birmingham and stayed here, living locally for over twenty five years now. Steev brought a wealth of award-winning experience to Brock Charles, having worked in a variety of building sectors including beach-front properties during his work experience in Florida, Listed buildings and large commercial projects in the UK, including the refurbishment of the University of Cambridge Examination Board offices. Steev is an Ask The Expert each year at both Grand Designs Live and the Homebuilding and Renovation Show.
He enjoys playing football, road cycling and following Leicester City. He married Joanne in 1997, whom he met across a table football game whilst at University.
