Brock Charles Commercial provides architectural services across the whole range of office, retail, health and industrial sectors that includes new build, extensions and refurbishment to premises including Listed buildings. We can provide services that include office and retail space planning, light industrial works including mezzanine floor installations, feasibility studies, Planning and Building Control applications and we supervise the whole process through to completion of the building works on site.

We do not work using percentage fees but we will always define the scope of work where we can and provide a fixed price for each stage of the works from the measured survey to the proposals and on through to the completion. As a separate service, we can provide three-dimensional computer modelling of a scheme, often invaluable to explain the proposals to the Planning Authority, your team, Landlord or to alleviate any worry about shadow casting a neighbour’s premises. We can also provide detailed budget costing of the proposal prior to a Planning submission or preparing all the working drawings for a Building Control submission, so you know in advance of the anticipated cost before the builders price the tender package.

We also manage our Sub-Consultants or work with your own Facilities teams and specialists to dove-tail the building element into your business development. We can also provide a full NBS Specification for the works, including the Contract particulars as part of the service. We can provide full timeline programming from inception to completion, including the separate stages during the design and construction phases to allow for any temporary decanting of staff, business process or stored goods around the on-going building works.
