Project Location: Welford-on-Avon

The work included replacement of over 70% of the roof structure and the sensitive salvaging and restoration of the 400 year old oak framed dwelling following an extensive fire. The works required prompt action and close liaison with the Conservation Officer to keep the damage to only that which the fire caused and not for further deterioration due to the weather. Charred oak was cleaned using the same system that was successful on restoration of the HMS Victory.
